Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automatically adjust the misregistering between colors caused by the lateral stretching of paper in a multicolor printing rotary press.
CONSTITUTION: In a multicolor printing rotary press wherein a plurality of printing units 1, 2 having air nozzles 7 provided thereto on both surface sides of a web 17 are combined between a pair of blanket cylinders 6, 6, a scanner 8 reading the register mark printed on the web 17, a control unit 9 issuing the correction quantity corresponding to the misregistering quantity between colors in the lateral direction of the web read by the scanner 8 and a control device 15 increasing and decreasing the air pressure from the air nozzles 17 on the basis of the signal of the control unit are provided.
