To provide a winding device capable of winding very fine fiber felt without causing deformation and breaking on the halfway.

This winding device is provided with a belt conveyor device for mounting the very fine fiber felt on a belt to carry the felt, a winding roller provided on an upper side of the belt without self-operated driving and a pressurizing means for pressing the winding roller on the belt side. The felt is caught between the belt and the winding roller. By synchronizing the winding roller with carrying speed of the conveyor device to rotate the roller by contact resistance of the felt carried by the belt and the winding roller pressed on the belt side by the pressurizing means, the felt is wound on the winding roller, while compressing thickness of the felt.
