Abstract:

PURPOSE: To fix a shoji (Japanese paper sliding door) to a window frame by a single worker by providing a room inward/outward movement preventing member and an in-plane movement preventing member for preventing the shoji and a stay from moving in the room inward/outward direction and the in-plane direction.
CONSTITUTION: When a fitting member 6 of a friction stay 1 is engaged along the in-plane direction of an upper frame 4 of a window frame, movement of a shoji and a friction stay 1 in the room inward/outward direction is prevented by a simplified fitting piece 7 equipped in a flat flange 8 on the room outer side of the upper frame 4. In this case, an end of the fitting piece 6 is fitted to a fitted part 7a of the simplified fitting piece 7. When the fitting member 6 is fixed to the flange 8 by insertion of a temporary locking screw 9 into a hole 10 of the fitting member 6, movement of the shoji and the friction stay in the in-plane direction is prevented. Accordingly, the shoji can be fixed to the window frame by a single worker.
