The wiper device 10 is provided with a wiper arm 11 which comprises an arm head 12 having one end connecting with a wiper shaft and an arm shank 13 having a base end part connected with a tip of the arm head 12; and with the wiper blade 30 having a connection block 40 of which intermediate part is rotatably connected with a tip part of the arm shank 13. The arm shank 13 is covered with an arm cover 20 covering a hook 16 of an arm piece 15, and chatter suppressing parts 28, 28 abutting on wall outer faces in both sides of the connection block 40 are provided in the arm cover 20. Since the chatter suppressing parts 28, 28 of the arm cover 20 hold the connection block 40 to suppress chatter of the wiper blade 30, noise caused by chatter can be prevented even in the wiper device having a tournament type wiper blade, a fin type wiper blade or a wiper blade with a blade main body covered with a rubber cover.
