Abstract:

To make the dust wiping performance and dust holding performance of a wiper superior by making the bulk density of nonwoven fabric containing stereoscopic crimp staple not higher than a specified value.

This wiper material of a nonwoven fabric contains latent crimp staple which expresses stereoscopic crimp. The latent crimp staple expresses stereoscopic crimp by heating, etc., and has a lot of air gaps between staple by stereoscopic crimp to demonstrate a function to hold wiped dust. The stereoscopic crimp has random shape crimp forms in which spiral, bent in two dimensional directions, and parts of those are mixed. The nonwoven fabric is constituted of crimp staple expressing stereoscopic crimp by heating and has bulk density not higher than 0.11 g/cm3. When the bulk density exceeds this specified value, the texture is excessively made close to make the air gaps between staple to hold wiped dust insufficient.
