Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method and a device for wire drawing capable of preventing a cassette type roller die and a wire from overheating.
SOLUTION: In a wire drawing device having blocks 2, 3, 4, 5 of plural pieces of cassette type roller dies, the device, which is arranged with the block of a first cassette roller die between first/second guide rollers in wire drawing process sequence, is set to one unit drawing process, the plural pieces of unit drawing processes are arranged, a common power cone 6 imparting tension to the wire in the drawing process is arranged to the post process of plural pieces of the unit drawing processes, further, a third guide roller, which receives the wire from the power cone to guide to a first guide roller of respective next process, is arranged, a forced cooling device of a drawing wire using a water-soluble lubricant 15 is arranged between the power cone and the third guide roller.
