Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire electrical discharge machining apparatus which can adequately discharge a processed waste even if a groove having a narrow width is formed.SOLUTION: A wire electrical discharge machining apparatus (2) for slicing a work-piece (11) comprises a processing liquid supply nozzle (42) which is provided along a processing part (4a) on an area on a side opposite to a base (26) with respect to the processing part, and injects a processing liquid toward a lateral face of the work-piece thereby supplying the processing liquid into a groove formed on the work-piece by the processing part. The processing liquid supply nozzle has a first nozzle (44) which injects a processing liquid (21a) toward a prescribed supply area (A), and a second nozzle (46) which injects a processing liquid (21b) toward the supply area from an area on a side opposite to the base with respect to the first nozzle, and spreading of the processing liquid injected from one of the first nozzle and the second nozzle on the lateral face of the work-piece is suppressed by the processing liquid injected from the other of the first nozzle and the second nozzle, thereby promoting supply of the processing liquid to the supply area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
