Abstract:
PURPOSE: To continuously maintain a satisfactory condition for automatic welding by making it possible to detect and monitor the actual feed rate to a weld zone of a wire fed to the weld zone.
CONSTITUTION: Drive rollers 3 and 4 are rotated at the specified speed to feed the wire 2 by using a wire feed mechanism B formed by combining the driving rollers 3 and 4 driven by a driving means with press rollers 5 and 6, a feed rate detection means C is arranged at the position close to the weld zone D between the wire feed mechanism B and the weld zone D and the actual feed rate of the wire 2 to the weld zone D is detected by this feed rate detection means C.
