Title:
WIRE HOLDER FOR ORTHODONTIA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10155812
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a wire holder for orthodontia such as a bracket which can be easily taken out as needed in case of exchange or the like while being prevented from being easily dropped from the teeth at the time of treatment for orthodontia.

Lock holes 15 are formed at four corner parts of base part 11 adhered through an adhesive onto the surface of the teeth, and its inner wall is formed into conical trapezoid for which the diameter of base part 11 is reduced on the surface side. The rear side of base part 11 is coated with an adhesive 20 and suitably pressed so that a portion of adhesive 20 can be protruded through the lock holes 15 to the surface side of base part 11. The portion of adhesive 20 projecting to the surface side of base part 11 is suitably expanded to form a bottom part 21 expanded rather than the lock hole 15 and when the adhesive 20 is solidified, the bottom part 20 is engaged with the base part 11 so that the adhesive 20 can not be released from the base part 11. When the adhesive 20 is strongly adhered into the surface of the teeth, a bracket 10 is not easily fallen from the surface of the teeth and, when the button part 21 is cut away, the bracket 10 can be easily released from the adhesive 20.
