To provide a wireless channel setting control method, that can maintain high communication quality in a mobile communication system adopting the CDMA system, and to provide a wireless network controller, a base station unit and a mobile communication system which adopts the method.
Upon the receipt of the setting request of a wireless channel from a mobile station unit, a wireless network controller decides on the propriety of assignment of a spread code. When the assignment of the spread code can be made, the wireless network controller calculates a 2nd outgoing transmission power and a 2nd incoming interference power and requests the base station unit for the assignment of a wireless resource and a hardware unit. The base station unit discriminates the propriety of the assignment of the wireless resource and the hardware resource in response to the request and informs the wireless network controller about the result of discrimination. The wireless network controller conducts processing of setting a wireless channel, depending on the result of discrimination.
