Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless data communication system that can efficiently utilize speech channels by optionally performing connection and interruption of the speech channel corresponding to the increase/decrease in a data communication quantity and the traffic of the communication system without adding a change to a current state of facilities of existing terminal stations, base stations or service providers that conduct data communication by the use of one speech channel or two-speech channels.
SOLUTION: Each terminal making data communication is provided with n-sets of personal stations PS (terminal stations) each making wireless communication with a base station through one speech channel. Each multiplexed communication unit connected to an exchange network including base stations is provided with n-sets at minimum of communication interfaces for data communication with the terminals, a channel control means for connection to providers, and a communication monitor means that monitors data quantity of data communication and also with a speech channel increase/decrease means that increases/ decreases number of speech channels up to (n) at maximum depending on the data quantity.
