Abstract:

To reduce a calculation amount in PMI assumption.

A wireless device comprises: a channel covariance matrix calculation part 152 for calculating a covariance matrix from a channel matrix assumed on the basis of a wireless signal transmitted from a transmission station; a first metric calculation part 154 for calculating a first metric from the calculated covariance matrix; a W1 determination part 156 for calculating a first precoding matrix which is common to a plurality of bands on the basis of the calculated first metric; second metric calculation parts 160-1 to 160-M for calculating a second metric using the calculated first precoding matrix; and an optimal CQI/PMI/RI determination part 164 for calculating a second precoding matrix for each band on the basis of the calculated second metric.
