A wireless device belongs to a second wireless system in which a frequency band to be used overlaps with that in a first wireless system, and the priority order for using the overlapped frequency band is lower than that in the first wireless system. The wireless device has: a location acceptance part accepting location information consisting of a geographical name and indicating its own location; a geographical coordinates acquisition part acquiring geographical coordinates including latitude and longitude corresponding to the location information, based on the location information; and a frequency setting part accessing a frequency server that stores a frequency allocated to a wireless device belonging to the first wireless system and geographical coordinates including latitude and longitude related to the position of the wireless device while associating with each other by using the geographical coordinates acquired by the geographical coordinates acquisition part to acquire at least one of a frequency not allocated to the wireless device belonging to the first wireless system and a frequency that gives no interference to the wireless device, and then setting the acquired frequency as a transmission and reception frequency.
