Title:
WIRELESS MOUSE SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06289986
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To attain operation similar to that of a mouse without a desk or a flat plate by coding the output of a direction sensor detecting a horizontal direction and an angle sensor detecting a vertical angle and transmitting it with wireless.

CONSTITUTION: The direction sensor 41 detects a horizontal and relative direction to a reception use television receiver and sends it to a control means 44. The angle sensor 42 detects a vertical angle to the ground surface and sends it to the control means 44. The control means 44 keeps sending the difference between the respective values of the direction sensor 41 and the angle sensor 42 and respective initial values stored in a storage means 43 to a coding means 46. The coding means 46 respectively code-converts these values and transmits them by means of a transmission medium such as an infrared ray, etc. These signals are converted from the infrared ray to the electrical signal of a code again to decide the display position of a marker in accordance with a fixed rule by a reception display means 51 and displayed on CRT 52. Thereby, operation similar to that of a mouse can be attained without a desk or a flat plate.
