Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the throughput in a network including a wireless link without modifying a configuration of an IP network.
SOLUTION: A TCP control section 120 divides transmission data into a prescribed size and attaches a TCP header such as a transmission source port, a destination port, and a sequence number to produce a TCP segment. Further, the TCP control section 120 attaches a receptible awnd resulting from subtracting the number of actually used buffers from a maximum awnd estimated by an awnd estimation section 180 to the TCP segment. A frame error rate estimation section 170 estimates a frame error rate from a result of error detection. An awnd estimate section 180 estimates the maximum awnd being a maximum buffer capacity available on the basis of wireless band information and the frame error rate.
