PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless packet communication apparatus that reduces interference with other wireless packet communications so as to increase the number of simultaneously communicating terminals.
SOLUTION: The wireless packet communication apparatus is provided with: a first packet transmission timing calculation section 51 that calculates a first packet transmission timing in communication between first and second wireless packet communication apparatuses on the basis of at least a received packet from either of the first and second wireless packet communication apparatuses which are not communication opposite parties to the concerned wireless packet communication apparatus; and a beam pattern switching section 4 that alternately switches first and second beam patterns according to the first packet transmission timing and sets the result to a beam forming section 3 so that the concerned wireless packet communication apparatus is not interfered by the communication between the first and second wireless packet communication apparatuses.
