WORD PROCESSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62190551
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the workability by displaying simultaneously Kana (cursive form of Japanese syllabary)-Kanji (Chinese character) converted candidates and translating converted candidates and eliminating the key operation for display switching to simplify key operations. CONSTITUTION:When one of conversion indicating keys is operated, a conversion mode is selected. In case of the Kana-Kanji conversion mode, a CPU4 reads out the first Kana-Kanji converted candidate from a Kana-Kanji converted candidate buffer 2 and displays it on an candidate selection area 28 of a screen 27 and reads out plural translation converted candidates from a translation converted candidate buffer 3 and displays them on a reference display area 30 of the screen 27. In case of the translation conversion mode, the CPU4 reads out the first translated candidate from the buffer 3 and displays it on the area 28 and reads out plural Kana-Kanji converted candidates from the buffer and displays them on the area 30. If there is a desired candidate in candidates displayed on the area 28, candidate data is stored as sentence data in a RAM8 by the operation of an execution key, and candidates displayed on the area 30 are erased.
