Abstract:
To make it easy for a worker to operate a machine tool across a translation rail, by reducing the size of a cableveyor (registered trademark).SOLUTION: A work conveyance apparatus comprises: a translation rail 11 horizontally extending in an X-axial direction and not disposed on a floor but disposed at a height that enables a worker to operate a machine tool across the translation rail 11; a base 12 linearly moved in the X-axial direction along the translation rail 11; a rack 13 provided in parallel with and close to the translation rail 11 and for traveling and driving the base 12; a pinion 14 engaged with the rack 13 and a traveling motor 15 that drives the pinion 14, both of which are provided on the base 12; a first control device 16 that controls the traveling motor 15; a robot 17 with a handle 171, which is placed on the base 12 and driven by air; a compressor 18 that generates air for driving the hand 171; and a second control device 19 that controls the robot 17. The first control device 16, the compressor 18, and the second control device 19 are placed on the base 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
