PURPOSE: To make tapping work and external shape cutting work at high speed and in high accuracy by utilizing a device equipped with plural tappers and presses in thin plate working of a steel plate.
CONSTITUTION: A work 40 of a steel plate to be worked is clamped to a table 20 of a working device with a clamper 25. An X-axis and a Y-axis carriages 24 move in the direction of X-Y by command of an NC controlling section 30, and external shape cutting work is made to the shape of plural products by an NC turret punch press leaving only connecting parts. Next, the work 40 is positioned to a desired position of a tapper out of tappers 501W503. After making desired tapping work at this position, the work 40 is moved in the direction of X-Y by command of the NC controlling section 30 to make external shape cutting work from the steel plate. Connecting parts of plural product shapes on the steel plate are placed between the upper and lower dies of a press section, and the product parts are cut off from the steel plate 40 by operating the press section 60.
