To provide a worm reduction gear holding a sufficient quantity of lubricant over a long period in a gear meshing part, by using a simple means useful for establishing a lubricating mechanism.

This work reduction gear has a worm 3 and a worm wheel 4. Discs 16a and 16b having a diameter larger than an addendum of the worm wheel 4, are arranged on respective side surfaces of the worm wheel 4. The discs 16a and 16b are installed on the side surfaces of the work wheel 4 by a plurality of small screws 17. Grease repelled by the meshing part and flowing outside in the tooth trace direction of the work wheel 4 reduces, and the grease required for establishing the lubricating mechanism can be held over a long period.
