Abstract:
To provide a wound dressing which can easily be applied to a lesion without contaminating the wound contact surface of the wound dressing when the wound dressing is applied to the lesion.
This wound dressing having an upper surface, and a lower surface which become the wound contact surfaces has an absorbing layer 40, and cover layers (20 and 21) for the absorbing layer 40. The cover layer on the lower surface side makes a liquid penetrative to the absorbing layer 40. At least the wound contact surface of the lower surface side cover layer is made hydrophobic, and the cover layer 21 on the upper surface side has a knob 30 which can be gripped.
