Abstract:
To provide a woven or knitted fabric having high stretch performance and high abrasion resistance, having uniform appearance free from wrinkles and streaks, and having smooth and delicate texture.SOLUTION: A woven or knitted fabric is obtained by using at least partially an eccentric sheath-core conjugate fiber. In a cross section of the eccentric core-sheath conjugate fiber composed of two kinds of polymers of A component and B component, the A component is completely covered with the B component, and a ratio S/D of a minimum thickness S of the B component covering the A component and a fiber diameter D is 0.01 to 0.1, and a peripheral length of the fiber in a portion where the thickness of the B component is 1.05 times or less of the minimum thickness S is 1/3 or more of a peripheral length of the whole fiber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
