Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly align the height of a wrist to that of the heart.
SOLUTION: A sphygmomanometer is provided with a height measuring means for measuring the height from a plane where the elbow of a person to be measured is placed, a judging means for comparing the measured height with a prescribed value and a reporting means for indicating a judgement result by the judging means to the person to be measured. An interval measuring means for measuring an interval of an auxiliary member to be mounted in the vicinity of the heart of the person may be arranged in place of the height measuring means.
