Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtering and drying apparatus capable of continuously filtering and drying a stock slurry.
SOLUTION: A sealed container 3, capable of being pressurized or reduced in pressure, is covered on its outer periphery with a jacket 4. The container 3 is separated by a filtering plate 5 into a filtering chamber 6 and a drying chamber 7 in a filtering tank 1, and a cake, formed on the plate 5, is separated by a pressurized gas injected from the chamber 6 into the chamber 7 and dried, by making the tank 1 rotate or counter rotate, while heating the container 3.
