To prevent a wrong operation by securely fixing an operation lever of a disconnecting switch at an "OFF" position between an "ON" position and a "ground" position and making secure a shift operation from the "ON" position to the "ground" position.
In a wrong operation prevention mechanism 1, an operation lever 2 which is coupled to a movable contact 22 of a disconnecting switch 30 and operated to rotate to three "ON", "OFF", and "ground" positions is supported to swing along an axis of a rotary shaft 3, and biased by a spring 6 to an intermediate position in an axial movement region. A crank-shaped guide member 5 guides the moving operation of the operation lever 2 to the three "ON", "OFF", and "ground" positions, and a mutual rotating operation between the "ON" position and "ground" position is hindered. A lock pin 8 falls in a groove 7a of a pin receiving member 7 on the operation lever 2 at the "OFF" position so as to stop the rotating operation and also cancels the stop as a solenoid 9 is powered on through a manual power supply operation, and the lock pin 8 needs to be placed in the cancel operation prior to the rotating operation of the operation lever 2 at the "OFF" position.
