Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety still more against X-rays generated from an X-ray generating device.
SOLUTION: An X-ray generating device 1 is structured such that X-rays are generated from an X-ray source comprising a filament 4 and a target 3, and that the X-rays are taken out to the exterior of a casing 2 through an X-ray window 7 and a shutter 9. When an abnormality in a position of the shutter 9 is detected by a shutter sensor 11, power supply to the X-ray source members 3, 4 comes to be controlled. Specifically, power supply to the X-ray source members 3, 4 is stopped when a shutter position detecting circuit 14 detects the shutter 9 stopping between an open and a closed position, that is, being in a half-open state, in the event that a command SH to close the shutter has been given to a shutter opening/closing driving device 13.
