Abstract:
To provide exo-type xylanase suitable for industrially producing xylose from xylan with efficiency.SOLUTION: Disclosed is an exo-type xylanase having an amino acid sequence of the following (A) or (B), and having properties of the following (C) and/or (D): (A) an amino acid sequence having 80% or more sequence identity with a specific amino acid sequence; (b) an amino acid sequence having one or several amino acid substitutions, deletions, insertions and/or additions in the specific amino acid sequence; (C) Arg18, Glu49, Lys53, Glu374, Arg406 and Glu425 in the specific amino sequence are conserved; (D) Asn147, Cys148 and Thr149 in the specific amino sequence are conserved.SELECTED DRAWING: None
