PURPOSE: To provide a yarn-winding apparatus capable of automatically winding a weft on a delivery pulley.

CONSTITUTION: This yarn-winding apparatus 1 is provided with a belt 15 placed outside of a yarn delivery pulley 7 and driven by a driving pulley 13, a fixed cam member 29 supported on the belt 15 in an integrally rotatable state, a mobile cam member 31 having gear teeth 22 on the circumference and rotatably supported by the fixed cam member 29, a mobile shaft 32 slidably supported by the fixed cam member 29 and the mobile cam member 31, having a yarn extraction member 3A attached to one end through a yarn guiding member 19 and contacting the other end of the shaft with the mobile cam member, a cam part 34 formed between the fixed cam member 29 and the mobile cam member 31 and allowing the slide of the rotating mobile shaft 32 on the mobile cam member 31, a yarn winding shifting mechanism placed between the mobile shaft 32 and the fixed cam member 29 and having a spring member 33 to force the mobile shaft to return to the initial position, and a rack member 18 engaging with the gear 22 at a prescribed position.
