Abstract:
To provide a yarn winding machine capable of shortening waiting time of splicing by efficiently performing yarn splicing work.SOLUTION: A fine spinning machine 1 comprises a plurality of spinning units 2 and at least one yarn piecing truck 3. The spinning unit 2 winds up spun yarn. The yarn piecing truck 3 performs yarn splicing operation with respect to the spinning unit 2. The spinning unit 2, after yarn breakage occurs, performs preparation work for preparing a yarn splicing operation startable condition. The yarn piecing truck 3, so as to be positioned at an operation position for performing the yarn splicing operation with respect to the spinning unit 2 where yarn breakage has occurred, maintains a current position, or starts traveling toward the operation position, or performs yarn splicing traveling for stopping predetermined planned traveling and stopping at the operation position. When there is no completion spinning unit being the spinning unit 2 where the preparation operation is completed, and further there is a preparation spinning unit 2a being the spinning unit 2 for performing the preparation operation, the yarn piecing truck 3 performs the yarn splicing traveling with respect to the preparation spinning unit 2a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
