PURPOSE: To provide superior package form and stably provide a package having uniform yarn quality between inside and outside layers in the case of high speed winding.
CONSTITUTION: When yarn is wound by a winder of spindle drive type or yarn feeding roll (touch roll) drive type, a drive motor 16 of a spindle is controlled in such a state that package circumference speed Vp is set to reference package circumference speed Vo from winding start of the package to the winding end based on package circumference speed Vp detected by a package circumference speed detection means 8. A drive motor 21 of a yarn feeding roll 7 is controlled in such a state that circumferential speed difference (Vr-Vp) between yarn feeding roll circumferential speed Vr detected by a yarn feeding roll circumferential speed detection means 27 and package circumferential speed Vp is set to reference circumferential speed difference ΔVo from the package winding start to the winding end.
