Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide zirconia minute particles having high sphericity and 0.1-4.5mm diameter and capable of forming uniform powder as balls of various ball mills without contaminating a material to be pulverized.
CONSTITUTION: Zirconia powder is suspended in a specified org. solvent and granulated with a specific amt. of water as a binder to obtain the objective high density zirconia minute particles having 0.1-4.5mm, preferably 0.1-0.69mm, especially preferably 0.1-0.35mm average diameter and sphericity of ≤1.12.
