Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle power storage device capable of performing connection/disconnection between first and second power storage units in a state of a circuit of the first power storage unit being cut off.SOLUTION: A vehicle power storage device connected to a unit requiring power in a vehicle comprises: a first power storage pack provided in a housing 28; a second power storage pack provided outside the housing 28; a connector 42 which is connected to the first power storage pack and provided outside the housing 28; a connector 49 which is connected to the second power storage pack and is connected to the connector 42 outside the housing 28; a service plug 38 for connecting/disconnecting a circuit of the first power storage pack; and a protection cover 50 capable of switching a first state of covering a connection place between the connector 42 and connector 49 and a second state of exposing the connection place. The protection cover 50 cannot be switched from the first state to the second state when the circuit is connected; and can be switched from the first state to the second state when the circuit is cut off.
