Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition for optical use from which an adhesive layer having a low dielectric constant and excellent step followability and adhesive force can be obtained, an adhesive sheet for optical use, and an image display device.SOLUTION: The adhesive composition for optical use comprises: (A) a copolymer that is a monomer mixture including 3 to 39 mass% of alkyl methacrylate monomers having an alkyl group having 10 to 18 carbon atoms, and 20 to 97 mass% of alkyl methacrylate monomers having an alkyl group having 1 to 9 carbon atoms; (B) a crosslinking agent; and (C) a (meth)acryl oligomer having a weight average molecular weight of 500 to 2,500, which is a (co)polymer of a monomer component including 85 mass% or more of alkyl (meth)acrylate monomers having an alkyl group having 4 or more carbon atoms. Contents of (B) and (C) are 0.01 to 20 parts by mass and 5 to 30 parts by mass, respectively, relative to 100 parts by mass of (A).
