Abstract:
To provide a compactible air-driven actuator which converts a linear motion of a piston to a rotational motion at high efficiency by using a rotation conversion mechanism, and outputs it, improves stability by being attached with a scotch yoke while holding a posture to an output-side shaft even if the shaft is reduced in a diameter, and can highly accurately control the rotation of the shaft and the scotch yoke by attaching them in a state that a positional displacement in an axial direction and an intersection direction intersecting with the shaft is prevented.SOLUTION: A rotation conversion mechanism 5 for converting a linear motion of a piston rod 10 to a rotational motion of an output-side shaft 12 via a scotch yoke 13 is arranged in a drive-side housing 2. A diameter-contracted tapered face 25 formed by contracting an outside diameter is formed in a prescribed position of the shaft, an annular diameter-expanded tapered face 30 expanding toward an opening side is formed in the vicinity of one opening of a shaft insertion penetration hole 29 of the scotch yoke, the diameter-contracted tapered face and the diameter-expanded tapered face abut on each other, and the scotch yoke is positioned with respect to the shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
