Abstract:
To provide an air purification apparatus capable of suppressing leakage of water overflowing from a water storage container to the outside of a main body case.SOLUTION: The air purification apparatus includes: a main body case 2 having an air suction port 9, and an air blowing port 10; a water storage container 16 provided in the main body case 2, and for storing water; an electrolysis unit 19 for electrolyzing water; a gas-liquid contact part 18 for retaining water in the water storage container 16; an air blower 4 for blowing air to the gas-liquid contact part 18; a water-feeding part 7 for feeding water to the water storage container 16; a piping part 6 for communicating the water-feeding part 7 with a water supply pipe 33; a first on-off valve 34 for opening and closing a flow path of the water-feeding part 7, or a flow path of the piping part 6; a pump 42 for drawing up electrolyzed water containing a scale remained in the water storage container 16; a container 40 for drain water for storing the electrolyzed water drawn up by the pump 42; and a control part 13 for controlling the air blower 4, the first on-off valve 34, and the pump 42, where the container 40 for the drain water stores water overflowing from the water storage container 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
