Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor blade for a rotorcraft to reduce noise made by the blade during flyby, while enhancing aerodynamic performances.SOLUTION: A front edge of the blade forms a front first sweep angle α1, which is greater than 0° and less than 10°with respect to a blade axis B, between a proximal end 3 and a second boundary S2, while forming a front second sweep angle α2, which is between 1° and 15°with respect to the blade axis B between the second boundary S2 and a third boundary S3, and forming a rear third sweep angle α3, which is between -35° and -15°with respect to the blade axis B between the third boundary S3 and a blade tip 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
