Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved encoder/decoder scheme.SOLUTION: There are provided an audio decoder 900 that decodes an encoded representation 901b of a first set of first spectral portions to obtain a first set of first spectral portions 904 and obtains decoded parametric data 902 for a second set of second spectral portions, and a frequency regenerator 906 for reconstructing a band by using individual energy information for the reconstructed band including the first spectral portions and the second spectral portions. Erased energy information in the reconstructed band is determined using the individual energy information and remaining energy information for the reconstructed band, and further spectral portions in the reconstructed band are adjusted on the basis of the erased energy information and tile energy information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9A
