Abstract:
To provide a device for controlling an automatic transmission capable of securing the roadability of a vehicle in the event of a range contact anomaly.SOLUTION: An SL2 solenoid valve 104 and an SR switch valve 105 are controlled on the basis of a range contact signal, i.e., a detection signal depending on a position of a shift lever, during normal time, where there is no failure or the like of a shift position sensor configured to output the range contact signal and there is no range contact anomaly, i.e., no anomaly in the range contact signal output by the shift position sensor. Meanwhile, when a range contact anomaly has occurred and a clutch C2 is engaged, oil pressure is output from the SL2 solenoid valve 104; when a range contact anomaly has occurred and the clutch C2 is not engaged, the SR switch valve 105 is turned on and oil pressure is output form the SL2 solenoid valve 104.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
