PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an azeotropic cleaning agent and a regeneration method thereof, a cleaning method, and a cleaning agent kit.SOLUTION: An azeotropic cleaning agent contains an azeotropic mixture, the azeotropic mixture containing a glycol ether represented by general formula: R-O-CH-CHX-O-H (where when X is a hydrogen atom, R is a group selected from the group consisting of a methyl group, an ethyl group, an n-propyl group, an iso-propyl group, an iso-butyl group, a sec-butyl group, and a tert-butyl group; when X is a methyl group, R is a group selected from the group consisting of a methyl group, an ethyl group, an n-propyl group, an iso-propyl group, an n-butyl group, an iso-butyl group, a sec-butyl group, and a tert-butyl group) and water.SELECTED DRAWING: None
