Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing unit capable of reducing an outer diameter of a shaft side slide member, and a turbocharger.SOLUTION: A bearing unit 4 includes: a shaft side slide member 40 fixed to a rotary shaft 50, and having a pair of shaft side slide parts 400b, 401; a pair of intermediate slide members 41a, 41b arranged in an axial direction gap A between the pair of shaft side slide parts 400b, 401 mutually independently; and a thrust bearing 42 having a bearing side slide part 420 arranged in an axial direction gap B between the pair of intermediate slide members 41a, 41b, and for supporting a thrust load in an axial direction acting on the rotary shaft 50. The intermediate slide members 41a, 41b are slidable with respect to the shaft side slide parts 400b, 401 and the bearing side slide part 420.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
