PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a rolling base and a rolling roller to keep a parallelism by making the outer peripheral face of the rolling roller follow the surface of the rolling table when the rolling roller rolls.SOLUTION: A butt weld device of strip metal sheets equipped with a rolling device 9 that uniforms the thickness, hardness, and texture of a weld zone by roll-processing the weld zone comprises: a rolling table 16 of a horizontal attitude on which the weld zone is supported and mounted; a rolling base 17 provided at a position above the rolling table 16 so as to be movable by reciprocation; a roller cradle 18 provided on the rolling base 17 so as to be vertically movable; a rolling roller 20; a pressurization mechanism 21 that pressurizes the roller cradle 18 to the side of the rolling table 16 to make the pressure of the rolling roller 20 when rolling constant; and a tilt mechanism 22, provided between the rolling base 17 and the roller cradle 18 to support the roller cradle 18 so as to oscillate in a direction orthogonal to the weld zone of a pair of strip metal sheets W1, W2 so that the outer peripheral face of the rolling roller 20 may be parallel with the rolling table 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
