Abstract:
To provide a blower which is small and lightweight and achieves a low operation sound level.SOLUTION: A blower 1 blows out compressed air. The blower 1 includes a housing 10, a motor 30, a compressor 50, and a transmission mechanism 40. The housing 10 has a body part 11 and a grip part 12 protruding from the body part 11. In the motor 30, a rotation axis is arranged along a longitudinal direction of the grip part 12. The compressor 50 reciprocates a piston 52 in a cylinder 51. The cylinder 51 extends in a direction intersecting the rotation axis of the motor 30. In the transmission mechanism 40, a crank shaft 42 connected to the piston 52 coverts rotational motion of the motor 30 into reciprocating motion of the piston 52 to transmit the reciprocating motion. The transmission mechanism 40 includes a motor gear 38 and a crank gear 44 which are a pair of helical gears.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
