Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether an audio can be reproduced from an audio component received by a receiver more quickly than conventional.SOLUTION: A receiver (2) includes a demultiplexing control unit (41) for reconstituting a content of multiple MMTP packets, and a control information acquisition unit (42b) for acquiring attribute information about the audio component of a content among multiple MMTP packets, and determining whether the audio component can be reproduced by the receiver (2) based on the attribute information. The content includes multiple audio components of same content and different attribute information. When multiple audio components can be reproduced by the receiver (2), as a result of determination, the control information acquisition unit (42b) selects any one of audio components.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
