Abstract:
To provide a building board having a vintage-like appearance by compacting a woody laminated board (conifer plywood, etc.) using a conifer veneer having many defects such as a relatively large size living knot, a dead knot, a missing knot and the like as an outermost surface.SOLUTION: A building board 10 is obtained by compacting a 9-ply conifer plywood 12 including at least a first veneer 11a a being a conifer veneer of any of B, C or D of "Standards for the quality of the surface of plain plywood made of coniferous veneer" of the Japanese Agricultural Standards (JAS). The conifer veneer of the quality standard B, C or D has a number of relatively large size defects, but the living node or dead node is closely surrounded by compaction to prevent the chipping, and the missing node is penetrated by a part 11b' of a second veneer 11b during the compaction to form a hole filling part 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
