Abstract:
To provide a cap separator that can effectively detach a cap and cap ring from a pet bottle.SOLUTION: The cap separator is configured to have a first crushing rotary drum 5 and a second crushing rotary drum 7. The first crushing rotary drum 5 rotates clockwise, and the second crushing rotary drum 7 rotates counterclockwise at speed equal to speed of the first crushing rotary drum 5. A plurality of first protrusion teeth 43 are formed in a circumferential direction on an outer peripheral surface of the first crushing rotary drum 5, and a plurality of second protrusion teeth 51 are formed in the circumferential direction on an outer peripheral surface of the second crushing rotary drum 7, where the first protrusion teeth 43 are engaged with the second protrusion teeth 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
