Abstract:
To provide a vehicle body structure that is able to reduce air resistance of a wheel, with a simpler structure and without substantially increasing weight.SOLUTION: A vehicle body structure includes: a wheel house 42A housing a wheel; a fender panel having a house outer peripheral portion 52 covering a periphery of the wheel house on a vehicle body surface; a door panel 32 or a fender panel adjacent to a front side of the house outer peripheral portion; an air discharge port 58 formed between the door panel or fender panel adjacent to the front side of the house outer peripheral portion and the house outer peripheral portion and configured to be opened to a side of a vehicle body to discharge air from an inner side 1K of the vehicle body to the side of the vehicle body. The house outer peripheral portion has: a flat portion 52M extending rearward from a rear-end edge 52F of the air discharge port so as to be substantially parallel to a longitudinal direction; and an inclined surface portion 52N extending from a rear-end edge 52MF of the flat portion toward the inside of the wheel house and bent at a prescribed inclination angle θ1 toward the inner side of the vehicle body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
