PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact card posture conversion device.SOLUTION: A card posture conversion device supplies a card (Cp) which is transported from a card printer (52) in a horizontal posture, in which a longer direction of the card is a first direction which is a carry-out direction or a carry-out orthogonal direction, and the card having an approximately rectangular form in a planar shape, to a secondary processing device (54) in a vertical posture. The card posture conversion device comprises: an extension plane conversion part (1) for maintaining the card carried out from the card printer (52) so that the longitudinal direction is the first direction, converting the posture of the card from the horizontal posture into a vertical posture, and carrying out the card to downward; and a longitudinal direction conversion part (2) for maintaining the vertical posture of the card (Cp) carried out from the extension plane conversion part (1) and converting the longitudinal direction to a second direction having a prescribed angle to the first direction and carrying out the card to downward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
