Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card reader capable of performing the change work easily, even when a switch function of the card reader is changed.SOLUTION: A card reader 1 has a body part 10 provided on a wall surface of the outer side of a door to be locked/unlocked by an electric lock. The body part 10 has a card reading unit 20 which reads information recorded on a card medium on the front. The body part 10 has a front case body 11 having the card reading unit 20. The front case body 11 has a non-translucent layer part 30 of the inner surface side of the body part 10, and a translucent layer part 31 of the outer surface side of the body part 10, in the thickness direction. A light guide 52 is disposed in the inside of the body part 10. A region facing at least the light guide 52 is a transmission part 37 consisting of only the translucent layer part 31, in the front case body 11. A display sheet 54 having a surface transmission part 54d, in which the region facing the light guide 52 has light transmission property, is attached to the surface of the front case body 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
