Title:
OPTICAL DISK SETTABLE AND COMPREHENSIBLE EASILY EVEN FOR CHILDREN/PERSONS HANDICAPPED IN SIGHT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2017167494
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk which can be held by a hand easily even for a child having a small hand and the front and rear sides of which can be recognized easily even for a person handicapped in sight by touching the front and rear sides with hands of the person.SOLUTION: Within a range (from a diameter 15 mm to a lead-in range 46 mm) of a central part in which a data written portion of a CD, a DVD or a BD is not troubled, a portion of the range of the central part is made higher than a surrounding disk surface. By making the portion of the range of the central part higher, a person handicapped in sight can discriminate a recognition of front and rear sides. On a rear side of the data written portion (in the case where one or two layers are included on one side of a storage region), braille characters or the like that can be recognized by touching them with hands are adopted entirely or partially in this part, and contents/details are explicitly indicated. When a person having a small hand such as e.g., a child sets a disk-shaped object into a desktop personal computer, as measures for well setting the disk-shaped object, it is handled by devising the portion within the range of the central part or sticking an anti-slippage article like a so-called gecko tape (soles of gecko) to the portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
