Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for protecting all components of a radio relay used in a train radio system from lightning damage.SOLUTION: A lightning arrester according to the disclosure for protecting a protection target from excessive current comprises: an internal conductor and external conductor for transmitting a signal to be input to the protection target; a first switching element; a second switching element; and a ground terminal; where the first switching element and second switching element are connected in series between the internal conductor and external conductor. An operating voltage of each of the first switching element and second switching element is set to be larger than a voltage value of a power source included in a signal transmitting in the internal conductor and external conductor. Capacitance of the first switching element is set to be lower than that of the second switching element. Synthetic capacitance of the first switching element and second switching element is set to be capacitance in which a signal transmits in the internal conductor and external conductor without a failure with respect to attenuation at the normal time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
